Poha Punugulu

                                           

In this post, I’ll share how to prepare poha punugulu easy way.  

Poha punugulu are prepared with soaked flattened rice/poha. it is an instant recipe.no grinding or no fermentation is required. very quick and tasty evening snack recipe. you need to take care while squeezing out the water from poha. so that the punugu wouldn’t absorb oil.if in case you feel that the batter has too much moisture, you can increase the quantity of rice flour to reduce the moisture.

In same process you can prepare Poha Vada as well. 

It is more easier than normal punugulu as we can prepare this instantly just in 20min. Lets checkout the ingredients and recipe. I am sharing my Youtube video here so it would be easy for you to follow

Ingredients Required
  • Poha – 1cup
  • Besan – 1/2cup
  • Rice flour – 1/2cup
  • Salt – 2tsp
  • Onion – 1
  • Green chillies – 3
  • Oil for deep fry
Preparation
  1. Add 1 cup poha into a mixing bowl, clean once
  2. Add water and leave for 5min
  3. 5min later remove water and squeeze poha and transfer it to another bowl
  4. Add besan and rice flour, salt, onion, green chillies and mix
  5. Add round shape punugulu into oil for deep fry
  6. Poha punugulu is ready to serve
